🤗SIMPLY GRAMMATICAL

Hello friends!Welcome back to Simply Grammatical let's try to be Grammatically Simple😀
So we have seen intransitive Verbs like sleep,sneeze,etc..which can't be supplied with an object(*note : object in Grammar refers to the sufferer of an action which usually follows a Verb.Giyan beats Nobita (so Who is the Subject? Right Giyan ..and always the object of his action is Nobita right?)Here object is a Noun but sometimes this word is used as a Verb "I object your honour."I am damn sure all of you have heard this dialogue in films and serials. Here it means' to oppose someone'or some thought, idea or belief or in simple words it means 'to not agree'.
OK ..now lets get back to our sub-topic  transitive verbs of the main topic 'Tense'.
           Examples of transitive Verbs:
1)Sizuka bakes a cake.
2)Nobita uses gadgets.
3)ShinChan writes a letter.
4)Dengi Suki completes his homework.
These are the examples which will have a passive construction.
First of all try to identify the tense of the above examples which are without doubt in Active Voice.
Yes ,you are right ! These are all in Simple present tense or Present indefinite tense.
What is the format of Simple present tense?
Subject+ base root Verb(V1)/V1+s/V1+es
(*this format is only for ...?Yeah,Active Voice)
Analysing the above examples:
1)Sizuka(subject)+ bake(base root verb)+s+ a cake(object)(*here Sizuka is a third person and singular noun hence the need to add 's')
2)Nobita uses gadgets
Nobita + use +s+ gadgets(object)(*if it is plural subject or 1st person singular (I)/2nd person(you)/other plurals we need not add 's 'eg:-"They use gadgets".

The above sentences in Passive Voice:
1)A cake is baked by Sizuka.
What is the tense ? Yes ,none other than Simple Present Tense.
You can note the format :

  • Object +is/am/are+V3(third form Verb)+ by + subject(as it is a noun we can use Sizuka as it is but if it was She instead of Sizuka in Active voice we have to change it into objective case 'her'.likewise he changes to him ;I -me;We-us;you-you;they-them and so on...)
* only the third form  of a Verb us used in all Passive Voice.
