ACTIVE VOICE TO PASSIVE VOICE

Do you know what is the main hint to understand Passive Voice??????? it has the past participle in it.What is Past Participle?Hereafter I will refer to it as the 3rd form , THE first form is the base root form which we use in Simple Present Tense  and the second form being the past Tense form.like GO- WENT- GONE👈 WELL there is no doubt that unless you are thorough with all the VERBS in their different forms there is no chance of scoring in this particular topic. harsh that it may seem but yes like you can't use a wrong surname you can'tchange their forms 💦📓 for example You can't say -I forgotted my pen at houseXXX or My pen was forgotted by me at my house HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES; ACTIVE VOICE                                          PASSIVE VOICE                                    ...

HELLO friends! Welcome to Simply Grammatical!!!😄 Today it's turn for the Comparative degree ...the degree that is true to it's name. The words'as'and so are often used to indicate a comparative degree . Adjectives -positive degree#Grammar

SIMPLY GRAMMATICAL! Adjectives-Positive degree.. Hi friends, So we had some good discussion on Superlative degree right ?(in my previous blog). Positive degree ..heyy don't think a negative degree is about to follow !The degree that begins with 'No other...'/'Very few ' ....have you used these phrases often? Let's see which case each beginning heralds. Case 1: Unrestricted positive degree: To hold the thread from the  previous examples let us use the same comparisons, "No other wrestler of the wrestling tournament was as good as Giyan." Case 2: Restricted positive degree: Following the above example.. "Very few wrestlers of the wrestling tournament were as good as Giyan" SELF-CHECK!!! Now just try the following : Change into positive degree: 1)Kalidas was the most renowned poet of ancient India. 2)Ujjain was one of the richest cities in India. ..............Best ..of... luck....

Adjectives#degrees#comparision

HELLO FRIENDS!! Welcome to my page "SIMPLY GRAMMATICAL" We were just discussing the unrestricted and restricted Superlative degree of Adjectives .To make the concept more vivid let me give an example of a competition .Suppose Giyan participates in a wrestling match and wins it we can say that "Giyan is the winner (the means 'the only') of the wrestling tournament" But suppose there is a tie with another player in the final round and the judges decide to give them both a first prize ,you can then say "Giyan is one of the winners of the wrestling tournament."Here please note that the common noun winner is in its plural form.In the above conditions if you have to compare Giyan's wrestling 🎿 skills with those of other contenders in the tournament then it would be this: Case1:"Giyan was  the best wrestler of the tournament." Case 2:"Giyan was one of the best wrestlers of the tournament." Case 1 is an example of UNRESTRICTED SUPE...

Adjectives - degrees

SIMPLY GRAMMATICAL: style="text-align: left;"> Hello friends!! I had many views yesterday ..Thanks for that . Remember we were comparing Giyan and Suniyo ?? Which are the two degrees we applied ? Ok ,so let me first discuss the three degrees. 1) Positive degree ; 2)Comparative degree ; And  3) Superlative degree  Hope you are all aware that Adjectives are describing words .To be more clear let's describe some things .How would you describe the following ?Mail me on kajalthakur1982@gmail.com  a)The sky b)The Earth c)Your brother d)your mother e)an elephant f)a cow? You can also comment your reply. Now how would you compare 'an elephant and a cow' ?;'The sky and the earth? Let's take an example of the students in your class. How would you find out who is the most brilliant ?By comparing two students or by comparing all of them ?'Most'implies Superlative degree and so a group comparison is involved .We state Superlative degree in two different ways...

Dear readers I am overwhelmed with the response I have received across the globe..I have viewers from Countries in all 4 hemispheres for a new beginning that's no trifling achievement ..I hope to get more subscribers soon so I can continuously keep posting. We had enough discussion on Tense now I would like to move on to ..... Adjectives and their degrees of comparison . Do you compare objects or people often?? Most of us do.We even try to compare ourselves with others right! Sometimes we compare just two things but at other times we compare a whole group in order to decide who is the' best 'or the 'worst' While comparing only two things or two people we can't be sure about the degree to which a certain quality is possessed unless we have actually seen or percieved the two things or objects or conditions . For example :'Giyan is fatter than Suniyo ' 'Dengi suki is more intelligent than Suniyo...

Hello and welcome to VANDANA's blog #feedspot#English Grammar It's turn for Future Tense ; Future ?Does every person have a future ? Yes,we all do have future right ? But can we foretell the future? "Not exactly ."Then what makes such a 'Tense' exist? The answer is because we do need to plan our future. We do assume what might happen tomorrow, day after tomorrow or next year. The use of 'will' and 'shall' herald the future tense though nowadays 'will' is much in vogue. (Simple Future Tense.) 'Shall' shows more certainity and therefore we can't use it with third person pronouns like 'he','she',or 'they'. Eg:I shall return your pen tomorrow. We shall overcome . These seem possible but if I say 'You shall return my book tomorrow.'It might seem unrealistic.

Hey!Welcome...back Tenses :Past Indefinite Hope by now you are au fait with Present Tense. Friends according to me Past Tense is the simplest Tense .There are less complications of auxiliary verbs here.Whether the subject is singular or plural you just have to remember the 2nd form of verbs i.e;past tense form. But yes you definitely have to be clear about the second forms of irregular verbs .So,here is a quick check: SG Test-3:- Q.Write the past tense form of the following base root verbs. 1) speak- 2) write- 3) go- 4) do- 5) bring- 6) buy- 7) think- 8) teach- 9) fight- 10) fly-                                                               Keep looking for               Answers ..in my upcoming blogs Bye..adieu..

Hello! . Present Perfect Tense . I am sure you have all heard of the word 'Perfect 'doesn't it imply correctness and completeness ? Same way Perfect Tense implies that an action has been completed till the required level at the time of reference.Present Perfect Tense is heralded by the presence of the word 'has' or 'have'. *The foretellers of Perfect Tenses are 'has','have'& had in general.simply 'has or have' tells you that it is present,'had' tells you that it is Past Tense and Future ?well 'Will or Shall + have'. Examples of Present Perfect Tense: 1) a)Sizuka has baked a cake.(active)      b) A cake has been baked by Sizuka. 2)a) Nobita has hidden his test papers.     b)His test papers have been hidden by Nobita.(*since test papers are plural hence the use of 'have) Present Perfect Continuous Tense. As explained earlier '-ing' with Verb shows continuity of Tenses and 'has, have or had...
